MANFA MUSIC recently released two audio albums. Manfa’s Top Collection, MP3 songs CD Volume 6 (containing 50 selected songs) and Lawry Travasso’s Goan Birthday Party are sure to delight listeners.
Continuing its tradition of releasing Konkani hit songs in the MP3 format, Manfa’s Top Collection is the production house’s sixth such volume and contains 50 songs sung by different singers and gives the listener a varied choice. The selection is well balanced with solos and duets sung by popular singers of the Konkani stage.

Among the many singers featured in this album are Jr. Rod, H. Briton and Roshan, Jose Rod, Tommy, Greg and Sabina, Agnelo da Costa, Menino Mario, Rosario de Benaulim, Jesus and Platilda, Aniceto, Meena Leitao, Young Chico, Jacob and Chorus, Anthony San, Norman, F.X. Pino, Cristo, Peter-Roshan, Osvie Viegas, Cajetan de Curtorim, Betty & M. Mario, Felcy, Bab Andfrew, Lawry and Jenny, Philip, Rosy Alvares, Janet, Antonette, Nephie Rod, etc.

Goan Birthday Party. A special CD meant to be played at birthday parties, Lawry Travasso conceived this album while Filipe Barreto scored the music for it. In all, there are 14 tracks on this audio album, both vocal and instrumental. The songs are in Konkani, English, Hindi and Portuguese. The singers who have contributed to the album are Lawry Travasso, Steffie, Roshan, Irenue, and Konrad Rodrigues. Songs featured here are ‘Happy birthday song’ (both vocal and instrumental), Lawry-rendered ‘Dis tujea zolmacho’, followed by a birthday medley by the same singer.

Roshan sings the yesteryears Hindi hit ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’, Corrindho, Congratulations while Lawry returns with ‘Hanv vhoddlo disco dancer’; Roshan belts ‘Yeh Laddka’ and Lawry renders ‘Hanv Saiba Poltoddi vetam’ with Roshan. Among the other instrumental tracks are ‘March’, ‘Birdie Dance’, ‘Zagai Zagai’ and, finally, ‘Wonderful World’.

This album, with a mixed repertoire of music, is meant to be played at birthday nd other informal parties. It’s a good buy at just Rs. 100.
