Micromax hasn’t been around for too long, but they’ve made sure their products have made some sort of statement when it comes to their features. From 8MP camera phones with optical zoom to this GC700 Dual connectivity CDMA/GSM handset with its gravity sensor. Their devices are very innovative, but can they hold their own with serious competition with the likes of LG and Samsung or Nokia? That’s what I’m here to tell you. Say hello to Android, this time with Motorola. Our dear Android also practices polygamy apparently.
The first time you pick up the Motorola Droid, you’ll notice its solid feel and heft. There’s a lot going on behind the crisp, 3.7-inch touchscreen. Making good use of Android 2.0’s new features, the Droid is a powerful web-surfing and communications tool that has a chance of living up to its hype. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but technology can always find its way to stun and surprise. Inside the could-be-Star-Wars-looking box, we find the phone/the watch, a charger, a data cable, a Bluetooth headset, a dock, CD-ROM and a user’s guide.

If you choose to look at it, it is a BlackBerry clone, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s a bad thing. Take a closer look.
